This leads to romances, and around those potentially romantic relationships there's another wrinkle - the ability to give out Confidant Gifts. ![]() It works much the same, however - you make conversation choices to progress relationships, as detailed in our Persona 5 & Royal Confidant Guide. In Persona 5 this is called the confidant system, replacing the social link system from previous games.

The only difference is that it does away with the notion of blocks. Tangle’s more technical name is the Directed Acyclic Graph - and as Sønstebø explained in a blog post back in 2015, this technology aims to retain blockchain’s ability to execute secure transactions. Well, as we alluded to a little earlier, the fact that it’s effectively a blockchainless blockchain is rather unusual to say the least. Originally known as Jinn, a crowdsale for the project was held in September 2014, and the network officially launched in 2016. They believe their distributed ledger could deliver digital identities to all, result in car insurance policies that are based on actual usage, pave the way for cutting-edge smart cities, deliver seamless global trade and prove the authenticity of products. ![]() The team behind IOTA believe that the potential use cases don’t end here. Given how estimates suggest there could be 20.4 billion such devices out there by 2024, this could end up being big business. In time, IOTA’s goal is to become the de facto platform for executing transactions between IoT devices. Many established networks see costs balloon when congestion intensifies, but IOTA aims to provide limitless throughput at minimal expense. ![]() To learn more about this project, check out our deep dive of IOTA.īecause there’s no blockchain, there are no miners, and because there are no miners, there are no fees. The foundation behind this platform says this offers far greater speeds than conventional blockchains - and an ideal footprint for the ever-expanding Internet of Things ecosystem. Instead, its proprietary technology is known as Tangle, a system of nodes that confirm transactions. IOTA is a distributed ledger with one big difference: it isn’t actually a blockchain. ![]() And by the way tmux is ridiculously configurable. I really recommend going on youtube and watching what crazy stuff people can come up with tmux is regards to usage and configuration. This is the reason that I stick to developing in the terminal, provides tabs, sessions, ability to switch between tabs/projects with ease, splitting views, views traversing. Bonus stuff: vim bindings, super useful aliases for git, tmux, etc. Still on the shell, I use prezto configuration, but fell free to try oh-my-zsh as well. I just love zsh, for me it's hard to explain why, maybe because of it's multiple themes, awesome auto complete engine that always pops out a suggestion for stuff that I never expected(git branches, tmux sessions, virtual environments), or simply that I got used to it, either way, try zsh. ![]() I personally use Gnome terminal for no other reason than having sane defaults to start with. ![]() Just any modern terminal will suffice, just make sure it supports 256 colors. I try to lay down my primary tools but as humans always do, I will forget stuff. My development configuration is a living, growing, unstable beast, beast that helps me getting my work done. But the Wave Rider 24 isn’t all ENERZY, it combines their latest midsole material with U4ic and their Mizuno Wave plate, and the result is very good. I personally enjoy softer shoes, and Mizuno ENERZY means the entire brand is back on my list of shoes to consider. But I have a relatively wide foot and appreciate a spacious toebox, and I have zero toebox complaints about this shoe. The toe bumper is very minimal, with lots of give, so if you are exceptionally wide toed and you end up overhanging the platform, the upper will let you. Lastly, the toebox isn’t earth shatteringly big, but it is more than ample. I even used the Wave Rider 24 for a 7 mile trail run (pretty tame, but there were a few technical sections) and I would put the foot hold up with many trail shoes. The lack of overlays doesn’t hurt the shoe’s performance any. ![]() There’s not much in the way of overlays, and the heel counter is pretty robust there’s not a lot of give in the back.Īgain, compared to the heel counter in last year’s Wave Sky WaveKnit 3, this heel collar is fairly minimal, and somewhat padded, as opposed to getting close to skate shoe territory of upper protection. The engineered mesh is a fairly dense weave, with slits in the outer layer showing the layers deeper in. It is very breathable, even though it isn’t the thinner upper around, and it is an enormous improvement over the WaveKnit that Mizuno has used in a number of their models. The Wave Rider 24’s upper uses Mizuno’s Engineered Air Mesh, and there is some truth in advertising there. There is almost a perfect thumb’s width from the end of my big toe to the end of the 10.5, I would not recommend sizing up or down. Not to say that ENERZY is super squishy, but it brings much more substantial cushioning than the previous midsoles like U4ic or XPOP. For years most runners have learned that “Mizuno soft” is codeword for “really really firm”, which isn’t a bad thing in itself, but can be frustrating for runners looking for a plush ride. While that is still true of the WR24, adding the much improved ENERZY midsole material is a massive step up for the Japanese company. Their Camry, Civic, or Altima, if you will. This Wave Rider is a leap forward from previous iterations, and it feels much more substantial underfoot in the protection department, but doesn’t overdo it to feeling overweight. ![]() This is Mizuno’s traditional daily trainer, made to fit in your rotation as the meat and potatoes shoe that you wear a few times a week, for easy miles and even some uptempo stuff. The Wave Rider 24 is the first running shoe featuring ENERZY (that proof of concept limited bulbous casual shoe doesn’t count) and if this is an example of what is to come then Mizuno is going to be back in the zeitgeist again. Then again there's probably some powerlifter with a really short humerus and a stupidly long radius/ulna that will be made a world champion by that rule so who knows. It's not a feat of strength, it's basically just a measure of how much weight you can unrack without taking your head off. In my OPINION, big arch benches ruin the integrity of the sport and need to be regulated. Eliminating arch entirely is just stupid because it makes the movement unsafe, but I think my proposal would allow lifters to arch pretty reasonably (meaning no change for >90% of lifters) while eliminating the BS 1 inch rom lifts from the sport. A lot of big arch benchers barely move their elbows at all, whereas people with actual rom on the bench are well below that point. If your elbow doesn't go even with or lower than the lowest point of your shoulder on the bench, you get red lighted, and I think this would be a pretty objective standard that judges can easily watch for at the pause. My proposal is to make it so that the elbows must reach the bottom of the shoulder on the bench for the rep to be considered full rom.
